• 7/8/2014 TUESDAY: LT. GOV. WYMAN PARTICIPATES IN CEREMONY HONORING SANDY HOOK RESPONDERS, SPEAKS AT CT STATE POLICE AWARDS EVENT

  On Tuesday morning, Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman will join Governor Dannel P. Malloy in a ceremony hosted by the state Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection honoring responders of the December 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.

• 7/23/2014 LT. GOV. WYMAN ANNOUNCES $400,000 FOR TOLLAND COUNTY MUTUAL FIRE SERVICE ON STATE BOND COMMISSION AGENDA

  Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman today announced that the State Bond Commission, chaired by Governor Dannel P. Malloy, is expected to support a $400,000 bond item for the Tolland County Mutual Aid Fire Service to upgrade their radio dispatch system.

  Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman, the incoming chair of the National Lieutenant Governors Association (NLGA), will also be the acting chair of the 2014 NLGA Annual Meeting in Girdwood, Alaska. She commenced duties today when current NLGA chair, Oklahoma Lt. Governor Todd Lamb, was unable to attend the three day conference.

  Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman are inviting members of the public to attend the state’s annual memorial ceremony honoring and celebrating the lives of those killed in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 and will be held at Sherwood Island State Park in Westport.
