BYK is a Wallingford additives manufacturer that partnered with the Department of Economic and Community Development to expand, add jobs, and increase manufacturing capacity.

On Wednesday, Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman will recognize legislative and community proponents of PA 14-172, An Act Improving Employment Opportunities Through Education And Ensuring Safe School Climates. This bill, signed by Governor Dannel P. Malloy on June 11, establishes a grant program to promote the educational and social well-being of children, and addresses bullying to improve school climates.
