Welcome to the Facility Licensing and Investigations Section

The Facility Licensing and Investigations Section more commonly known as "FLIS" licenses, monitors, inspects and investigates complaints involving a variety of facilities and services.  It performs federal certification inspections in health care facilities participating in the Medicare and/or Medicaid programs and identifies deficiencies that may affect that facility's state licensure or eligibility for federal reimbursement. Most of the frequently asked for services regarding health care licensing are listed below.
