Administration of Dental Anesthesia/Deep Sedation and Moderate Sedation

A Connecticut licensed dentist may use general anesthesia/deep sedation or moderate sedation by intravenous injection on any patient provided such dentist has a permit issued by the Department.  There are two types of permits: Permit for the Administration of General Anesthesia/Deep Sedation and Permit for the Administration of Moderate Sedation.
